Bike Classifications 1-6
The six defined bike categories (1-6) show you exactly where you can safely use your bike and where the limits lie. Each class describes the area of use and, if applicable, any unsuitability. This helps you choose the right bike for your needs.
Area of use: Use on normal, paved surfaces where the tyres should maintain contact with the ground at average speed with occasional jumps.
Unsuitability: Never ride off road. Never perform jumps over 15 cm.
Area of use: The area of use specified in Condition 1 applies. The vehicle can also be used on unpaved roads and gravel paths with moderate upward and downward slopes. Under these conditions, the bike may come into contact with uneven terrain and tyres may lose contact with the ground repeatedly.
Unsuitability: Never ride off road. Never perform jumps over 15 cm.
